Most aftermarket companies (Summit, Jegs...) have a ton of different loom kits.

Here is the one I got, it has gone up 2 bucks since last fall but I think it is still a pretty good deal. It leaves them open though, but I still like the look.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MOR-72133/

At least with the Ford Racing wires I got you have to get the cut to length ones.
thats still very cheap to me.. thank you for your help that will work just fine.. i bought the wrong wire kit i needed 90s insted of the straight ones i was either gonna see if there is a kit that has all the new ends i can install or just somthing to hold them out of the way, scince the stock ones thats hold them on the valve cover are old and crusty and broke lol.. thanks again sir

You should be able to get bulk wire and ends.

Make sure to get the resistor wire or it will wreak havoc with your radio.

hope this dont sound to dumb but the deal that hides ur wires on ur valve covers were did u get it? i would love and need to get me that:icon_thumby:
Not a bad question at all. I'm surprised more people don't do it this way. Personally, I don't like to see the wires draped over the valve covers, so I looked for a loom that would run them nice and tight on the side. I ended up using this loom from Summit. It's made by Billet Specialties. I had to modify it a little to get it to mount vertically alongside the valve covers.

Apparently no one makes one that mounts vertical like this. I'm not sure why. I really like the way mine turned out.

Here is a link.

My '87 has the surface with the two tapped holes to mount it, but it is filled in. At a angle it looks like it does have the provision though. Standard rotation pump.
OK, I'll give you that..... I probably should have worded it differently. But it still requires work to use a mechanical pump. Mine has that too, but I'm 99% sure it's not threaded, and the "fill in" is cast into it. My point was, you can't just slap a pump in there without working on it.

Agreed.

I can't stand the look of all the wires just draped over the valve covers.

I don't know why so many people do it that way. Seems like they would get in the way.

After seeing your picture in another thread, I've found many styles that mount vertically.

I think it looks really good.
That Mustang picture is awesome, I've been considering a lack engine bay. It's sort of "wrong" on a Ford, but I'm not overly concerned!

I always thought those holders (like dagoof) looked a little too Street Rod for me, but vertically they rock.

Mine is tapped. I about had a fit when I first saw it, I thought it was a open hole.

BOBBYWALTER, if not a C4, then what trans would you recommend for all-around reliable performance?

Almost everyone I know that has done a 302/351 swap uses the c4 and builds it (or has it built) according to HP numbers.

There's plenty of c4's out there capable of handling 1,000HP.
