So we got the OK from the Johnny Law to hit an abandoned development plot behind a local charter school. They were in class and we were rhomping through some mud behind the parking lot.

Here's oatmealman's ZR2 S10 hittin the right side of the pit (on the left side he would have sucked in water, but his rig could have made it)

Here's me hittin the same side to test the turf. I still havn't finished building my front drive shaft so I'm rhompin with an open rear diff in 2wd, so bassicly 1 wheel drive in the mud.

Here's me hittin a hill. It's steeper then it looks, but still pretty easy. It's fun to just see the sky over your hood.

And here's my truck hittin the deep end in 2.

So i thought my ball joints were shot. The passenger side front leaned about 10 degrees out at the top.

Upon inspection with light, the wheel bearings were shot.

The inner came out in a good 20 pieces, and put my spindle to hell. Replaced them both, bolted everything up, and she's good as new.

I didn't have a breather tube in the front, so after the mud in the videos above, my diff fluid was chocolate milk.

So I re-routed the breather in the front up to the air box, and the rear breather tube now ends at the top of my light bar. SO i think i'll be fine.

Now it's still on to finding a front driveshaft that works. Ballsack. But she's doin good.

Wait a minute Sally, You bust my chops over flex and still running my d35/8.8 combo. I Stripped/scrapped my b2 AND turned a 2wd explorer into a 4wd (2 locked axles) on 35s in less than 6 weeks and your busting my balls? I could of knocked a girl up and had the kid in the amount of time you have went rolling 2wd in one form or another.

Just build a square driveshaft. It will be fine and you'll have like $6 into it if you have the yokes.

The battle with the front d-shaft has been a bitch that I haven't put much effort into.

The front t case out put is a cv style.

I ordered a tom woods adaptor. Brings the suck.

I built a front d-shaft. It binds cause of the amount of lift.

I got flanges that allow for more travel. Binds under articulation.

I can easily shorten the front shaft for a double card. Need to find one that fits.

I can rhomp in 2wd. So why not?

I've looked into square drive shafts, and will most likely resort to one, but still plotting and dealing with the t case out put and keeping it from binding.

And Chuck, I broke my face and was layed up a month. I didn't feel much like wrenching when the left side of my face was held in by muscle not bone.

I should really post my CT scans. Gnarley shit

I'm almost good as new. ANd my teeth are even straighter! The miricals of modern medicine.

Truck's just been getting driven and played with. I'm sick of workin on it every single day so now I'm just keeping it down to hoby hours.

I'm really enjoying not being covered head to toe in grease every single night and getting to hang out and drink beer and watch tv screen savers of a tropical beach all day.

I got a job as a bar back at the Mirage here in littleton. So now I'm workin 5 days a week as a guitar teacher M-F and two days at the bar F and S. So I'm just worn out.

Carl, I'll still wheel in 2 wd if you wanna hit the trails soon, I know mitch is always down.

Mike, Get another rig or fix the blazer or i'm gonna punch you in the dick.

Chuck, suck it! lol

I will when you quit taking the shaft! hahahah all in good fun.

I will, but I've got a deal on some 1.5ton WWII Power Wagon axles so I might just wait a little bit before spending money on a drive shaft that'll be worthless
