Its a long weekend here (Victoria Day) so I'm wrenching as much as I can.
Had to throw a rearend under the Ranger to move it. Its taller than I expected it to be, even with the mix n match rubber (215 & 235 75-15's, all I had that held air.)
Altitude wasn't what I was going for. Attitude, maybe.
I'll post progress pix if I actually make any thats significant.

No, its just temporary.
The '07 FX4 axle was still under it so I Mickey Moused it into place. I need that spot to demo the F350. So I got the harebrained idea to turn the Ranger so the nose was facing the F350 when it spits out its D60, 351 and (I assume its a) C6.
That pretty much killed the rest of the day and its only halfways turned, the back stuck over the trench. The right front tire won't climb a 3" or so berm in front so its progressively getting into a stupider position all the time.

I bought a pair of wheel dollies and couldn't have gotten this far without them.

The dollies are under the back but you can see how tall the back is even on 28" tires. It'd be too tall for my fat ass to get in with 36's, much less the 39's I'm planning for.

If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all.

My luck continues except this time I'm probably going to lose at least the BII.
Bylaw enforcement was here and have identified it as a "derelict." Technically, he stopped short of calling all 4 vehicles derelicts even the dd. I'm apparently not allowed to park in my yard wherever I want and is giving me until Wednesday to mow the back 40. (I agreed on that, its tall.)
Even the Ranger is under scrutiny. (bylaw wants it fully operational, not just insured.) Sitting insurance isn't enough. Oddly, he was less concerned about the F350 because it runs.
So changes are coming. I'm not really sure how to deal with this all. I did identify the complainant, however.

I'll keep y'all posted.

I would love to have you as a neighbor. I wouldn't feel bad dragging junk home. Right now I am the junkest on the street and I only have our two daily drivers outside. My wife won't let me drag home more projects.

Plus he would probably give you free beer to make sure you aren't the one complaining.

If you'd occasionally help or need help, yeah. You're getting beers.

Sadly I'd gotten along with this neighbor so I view her calling bylaw as a betrayal. I'd love to have neighbors who work on their toys and projects. Kindred spirits. :)

I'd love to live in the mountains away from the neighbors, bud. Unless the neighbors had cool projects too.

I'm not going to conform. I'll find ways around the rules... or move where there are fewer rules to begin with. I think that sounds better anyways.
