Living in a small town sucks, my plate that was supposed to be here today isn't. Now they're telling me late next week. More time to contemplate what to do with the skids.

If you still have the dog dishes that you cut out of the rears, section them to use the center part, and weld up the drain holes, that would take care of the rounded part.

Ive seen them recentered to 6 on 8 3/4" (duece) and even 8 on 6 1/2" so i dont see why you couldnt use them if you really wanted to. Hell the center hole is around 9" so you wouldnt even have to recenter. Make a plate with your bolt pattern centered inside a 10 by 11 1/4" pattern and you'd be good to go. Just make sure you're ready to push 48" tires or bigger.

quick little post about the wheels and beadlocks:

If anyone is looking for them here are the military numbers for the wheels

front on view

Outside (as i'll be running them, they can be run either way)

Inside

20x10

Wearing the Titan name and made in America

DOT approved

Military only my ass!

Common sense

13,000 x 4 means = 52,000. lets hope CHKNFKR never gets to see that kind of load

whats included

funny little valve stems

Info on the beadlocks

in all its glory

air still has to get in

will she fit?

thats 8 5/8" don't believe the picture

by 1 1/16" should be enough to grab on to the bead

checking the wheel

width is good

Height looks good

All stacked up and awaiting some 53" michelins

have i mentioned i like taking pictures?

In case you're wondering, the wheels are bud centered, the holes have a 45* straight bevel on both sides. that o ring is about 3/8" round. there are 16 3/4" studs keeping the two halves together and the book says they should be tightened down to 450 - 500 lbs/ft.

tires are a long way off, mostly because i don't have room to store them. taking it easy till after thanksgiving and then i have a "job tour" in Charleston on Monday, so Tuesday is likely the next chance I'll have to do anything. whats next on the list? removing whats left of the factory skid (should have done that in the first place) and picking up some plate (i hope its here by now) so I can make a new, more friendly skid.

Maybe this is a stupid question but how do those rubber rings work as beadlocks?

it is a 2 part rim, you put that inside of the tire, then bolt the rim together. It will push the beads up tight from the inside.
