I have a Pioneer DEH-2200UB on the way, supposed to be here tomorrow for my F-150. (the truck had a Pioneer that whoever installed hacked the harness like mad and I think they fried the HU in the process)

My 88 BII has a Pioneer DEH-3500, never gave me any trouble.

My Choptop has a cheap wal-mart special (I forget the brand), I got it cuz it was cheap and would take USB or SD cards. I don't carry CD's in that truck for obvious reasons. A USB or SD can go in my pocket when I get out of the truck.

My Ranger has a DEH-7600MP, I spent a nice chunk of money on it when I bought it and have always loved it, worked great, sounded great, and now that that truck is parked until I can fix it, I miss it dearly. And the system it is attached to (Rockford Fosgate FTW!).

darn thing didn't boot up even though there was 12 at the constant and 12 at the ignition... then it FINALLY started up. I don't know what the problem was, but it works fine and like a charm now. Not a fan of the metra kit, looks like crap compared to the scosche kit you can get. The best buy guys laughed at me when I asked for it, they said that they were all the same, shows what they know. Hell, they don't even know how to get most of their installs right without breaking things or having corporate pay the bill for the damages they cause.

Now to get a 16 or 32GB usb flash drive. beats ripping all my cd's to make a bunch of MP3 cd's.

If any of you can't read the model, it's a KDC-HD545U. The only other built in HD tuner radio available at BB was the Pioneer DEH-P5200HD, and there was no way you could ever get me to purchase that ugly thing. Plus the buttons feel like cheap garbage. Don't hassle me for buying from BB, I got 50 bucks off of it, otherwise it would have come from crutchfield :D I was going to install the KDC-419, but I decided to upgrade. That 9 year old radio did it's job, but USB and MP3 capability had me sold!
