I just got some pretty crappy news a while ago.

My dad has lost his job for a company he's worked for for the past 10 years.

I don't know a whole ton of details, but it's party to due with one of the managers.

If anybody knows of any openings for heavy equipment mechanics and/or hydralic techs in the NH area, send me a PM.

I rectntly moved out of my parent's place, but still see them on a regular basis @ church.

The good news is that my dad has enough skills and chutzpa that he'll figure out something soon.

Sorry about that.....but Companies like to "use" people for 10 or 15 years....then give us the boot.....

It's called "High Finance".....and it makes perfect sense to the one who does the firing/layoffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sucks.
If he was wrongly fired or layed off because of a personal reson and not due to lack of performance at work, I would suggest he seek out a lawyer.

Prayers and good energy that he has a quick comback to the working crowd.

Hoping for the best for him, sure looks like things aren't getting better faster. The skills and chutzpa are what will really help him. It has sure helped me when the company I worked for for over 24 years moved out of town and I said I'd rather stay here without a job. Even when I retired, had a month off when they called me back for some rush work, that lasted six months.
