Great pictures thanksforgot to mention, it's an '02 complete with intake flapper. the flapper will leave the building asap. so will the electric thermostat/heater thingie.
this engine is going into my 2005 which doesn't have the heated thermostat.Great pictures thanks
You can certainly tell this Mazda L engine was designed for transverse mounting in FWD cars, you wouldn't see all that stuff on the rear of the engine on a longitudinal mount rear wheel drive design
Heater in thermostat is a monitored system so you will need to leave the heater attached or CEL will stay on all the time
