On my 3.0 I have a squeeling that I strongly believe is the belt or tensioner, today idling at a stop light I noticed the squeeling went away and the oil pressure guage started flickering between none to the middle. If I rev the truck a little it stays normal. The temperature was a humid 85 degrees, and Im not sure on the rpm since my tach doesnt work. The revs drop real slow when I put the clutch in also if that has anything to do with it.

Remove the serp belt and start it for long enough to tell if squeal is gone.

Then http://www.therangerstation.com/Magazine/Summer2009/idler-tensioner-pulley.htm

or replace the cam synchro if it isn't belt related. Search on Cam Synchro for details. Fix asap if it's that.

Oil sender is below the Passenger side head at the firewall. Need a mirror to see it.

Might just be low idle rpm for which you should clean the IAC, also a search. Easy.

Ive replaced the serp belt a while ago, I believe its the pullys. I have also cleaned out the iac, I was just worried it could be the cam sync since when the oil pressure was fluttering the squeeling stopped. The part that throws me off is the squeeling is from the front of the engine not the back
