so i think i have heard of other people with this problem but did really hear wht they can do to fix it. on my 93 4.0, i am having oil come out the breather on the oil fill tube, and its getting into my engine and causing smoke and going through oil pretty fast. plus after a long drive and i park it, it will have a puddle under my intake where the plastic tube comes into the maf. i want to take the breather tube off and make some sort of breather that wont allow oil to come out but still bleed off pressure. i know that is only a banbaid, but what is the fix? i dont want to put much money into it cuz in a few months i wanted to do an engine swap.

check you pcv valve and make sure its functioning properly, otherwise your engines only option is to vent it through the fill tube.

already changed the pcv valve. sorry forgot to mention that. is there some sort of baffle in my value cover that could have broken and allows oil to pass by now?

Odd that its up top unless a cylinder gave out. What oil weight are you using? (compression test) Also you may not have oil... you may have ATF from the modulator valve. Check for dampness in the vacuum lines.

Good luck
