My name is Clint. I'm from Kings Mountain, N.C.. I own 3 B2's and they'er all STOCK! I restore'em. I don't wheel'em but I do show my '89 XLT. It has over 200,000 on the clock and still looks brand new. (See my avatar!) Just shopping for ideas to use on my '88!

Welcome to TRS!

I live just up 85 from you in Charlotte.

That's great that you are restoring these trucks. It's nice to see clean, stock ones.

You probably already know this, but LMC Truck is a great source for stock reproduction parts. They even carry the little seat belt stickers that Ford used to put in the windows.

My '89 still has the original stickers on the windows. It also has all the original stickers everywhere, even on the roof mounted luggage rack. Anytime you come south on I-85 let me know and we'll meet up somewhere and we can swap lies.

My credo
Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
Welcome, Clint. I think you'll like it here. There's a few of us whackos here that like classic old stock trucks. Here's a pic of my '90 B2; pretty much all original, with a little restoration work done to put it back stock.

Looks great. I want a custom but not a trail runner. Since I've got 3, I'm looking at my '88 for that.
