Hello all, I am Rick and this is my 1988 2.9L Manual Bronco II. I have been working on it a lot lately and figured I would join the forums to learn what I don't already know. I have owned this for about a year and purchased it from the original owner(An old military buddy) who kept it in his barn for about 6 years.
Recent Work:
-Changed the Brake Booster (Myself)
-New Gas Tank/Fuel Pumps (Mechanic)
-A/C System completely replaced. (Myself)
-Aftermarket LED Headlights Installed (Myself)
Planned Work:
-2.5" Country Lift Kit
Issues:
Sometimes when I go to start her up, It can take a few seconds to really crank. This doesn't happen for the first startup of the day but rather later in the day after I have driven to several locations. I have had the electrical system checked at auto-zone and they say everything is tip top. I have also changed just about everything in the fuel system to include: injectors, fuel pumps, filter, gas tank. I have heard a few people say it could be the fuel pressure regulator but I am not sure?
