I just bought mu truck and I want to upgrade the performance a little. I thought about ordering the JBA cat back system for my truck or just taking it to the muffler shop for some flowmasters. I want to keep it somewhat quiet. Any suggestions?

dont expect noticeable power gains out of an exhaust system. the only exhaust related component that will help out in that area is headers.

unless you want the added sound/looks, leave the stock system on.

you can add headers to the otherwise stock system and it wont change the sound too much...but should give a little more kick.

Cool I appreciate that. Any suggestions on a good set of headers?

anything stainless steel and/or ceramic coated. stay away from chrome as it doesnt last.

stainless and ceramic is a little more expensive, you get what you pay for.
