I have an 03 ranger xlt 4x4 4.0L and i think i have 4.10 gears. I am doing a 4 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift. Idk if i want to go with 35's or 37's? Im just worried it wont be able to handle the 37's all that great. What do you think? Thanks

you could fit 37s with that much lift but youll need to regear 4.10s wont cut it with 37s even 35s wont be great

to run a 35 you need MINIMUM 4.56 gears. to run 37's you need 4.88 or 5.12. also, you wont fit 37's with 4 and 3 without cutting something fierce. 35's will be close. i know a ranger with 4 and 3, he runs 33's and they dont leave alot of room.

I doubt it'll be long for the stock IFS with 37s on it (even 35s is kindof pushing it). I'd stick to 33s unless you're open to doing a SAS on it.

4.56 gears are good for 33s since you got the 4.0L. If you do decide to go with 35s, then 4.88 gears (which are the deepest available for that axle).
