need dash swap info asap

First I did look in the libary. I just want to make sure when i go to get the dash I get everything I need in one trip. I have a 85 B2 and putting in a 89 B2 dash. I know I need the complet dash and steering. how about wiring and the heater duct work. and? thanks hende

You will probably need the complete harness? I looked into adding a guage cluster in with a tach and the connectors are different the 85 is carbed and the 89 is FI I am sure it can be done but you need to have the connectors from the 89 harness and do alot of testing and splicing to get the guages and lights to work properly. I dont believe it is plug and play maybe you can swap the whole harness including the fuse block either way it will be alot of work.

The harness can be gotten by undoing the 10mm bolt at the cannon plug and just leaving it attached to the dash.

The harness can be gotten by undoing the 10mm bolt at the cannon plug and just leaving it attached to the dash.
So can i just pull the colum then the 4 screws up top and a bolt on bottom of both side then the hole dash come out as one right? also the 89 donor dash is out of a auto. my 85 is a manual dose that matter?
