So I got a new winch from a junk yard (they supplied the part vs pull my own). It is more like the style on my F150 or Expedition, it has a slot style (flat head screwdriver) vs the old ranger one was square, to be lowered with the jack parts.
I like the slot style with the long crank style device to raise/lower it. But there's not a specific place under the hood to store the crank.
So anyone have a creative way to store the long crank? or a way to mod the square into a flathead? (I don't think I have the cross bar to use the 3 piece parts that came in the back seat)
Suggestions?
