Does anybody know what these are? They rotate about half way and are shaped like fish?

Anybody know what this is.

The coupling in the middle is threaded. It unscrews and the silver end fits into the long brass section, so it can go in the holster.
Here is a close up of the silver part

My 1st thought was a tool sharpener of some sort. If that's the case, it's never been used.

I got it from my wife's grandfather who was a Korean War Pilot and a Boeing Pilot after the war.

Really curious as to what the 2 prong end is for.
Also wondering about the functionality of the little magnet and "coin" type peice.

Did you know, or did you do a google image search? Just curious because I would have never come across this in my world.

This makes since because the little coin thing is a place marker for your ball, on the green.
