Well since my converter cracked I decided that I really don't want to take this auto out again. Too much crap to disconnect. So I decided to get a parts truck with a manual trans and transfer case. So for $250 I bought my truck a new trans, transfer case, manual hubs, bumpers, doors to make 1/3 doors out of, a hood to play with, and a sunroof and headliner! I think I made out pretty good...

Swap coming soon! I have most of the stuff out of the donor already!

Looks pretty good man. I was also surprised to see you braze in that piece. I can braze alright but wouldn't want to try it on thin body panels. My trick is small tacks with a MIG and spray them off with an air sprayer so it doesn't warp.

Yeah, my autobody teacher suggested brazing so I did it. If I had to do it again I'd definitely MIG it in. I love playing with my Miller...lol

I guess it was some kind of thermometer clock thingy. There's a temp sensor on the front valance panel of the truck. Too bad it doesn't work anymore:annoyed:
