i'm swapping a 7.5 for a 8.8 on a b2 and have a ???. the tech section says that a 7.5's spring perches are 39'' apart o/c. anyway i measure mine it comes up 40.5''. did b2's come with dana 35 rears or i'm i missing something??a quick reply would be helpful as the welding shop has my rear and is waiting on me for measurements. thanks

im pretty sure that the leaf springs on a b2 are farther apart than a ranger. i put a b2 axle in my ranger and i had to move the spring perches.

Yes, the BII is close to 2" wider than a Ranger at the leaf springs.

thanks for the quickie. man, i thought i was missing something because like said, anyway i measured it was 40.5. when i give my bud the measurements where should i measure from.
