So yesterday I was coasting up to a stop sign in neutral, came to a stop. Put the clutch in and went for first gear and it wouldnt go in, went back to neutral and released the clutch and it stalled. I'm sure its not the clutch because I tried to start the truck in first gear to limp the truck to a service station but it would barely move. Had a friend tow me home and had to hold my foot down on the clutch the entire way. Otherwise the trans would lock up and not allow the truck to move, even in neutral. Any ideas? I'm not too familiar with standard transmissions I've only worked on the a4ld. Any help is apprieciated my ranger is a 1993 2.3 2wd thanks
