So I found this site about a year ago and have been incredibly impressed, I'd like to introduce myself and my truck and explain my ranger "journey"

My names Scott I'm from B.C. Canada (when we have pet polar bears)
I bought a ranger about a six months ago and have had some ups and downs...
I'm trying to make it an off road truck for hunting and fishing, wasting money and having fun.

93 ranger xlt
M5od r1
4.0
4x4
Not too many mods..... Yet
I bought it with 255 kms
3 days and 400k after purchase tranny blows... SOB!
Buddy who sold it forgot to mention it had no tranny lube in it.
Finally got a hold of a tranny lined up transport and a mechanic, got er done
Two sets of used tires later, a starter, a hillbilly rigged stereo system, a seizes caliper, weaping back shocks and mannnnyyy creeks an erks later now it sits

In the past little while I've notice I have absolutely no bottom body mounts wheel bearings need to be done defiantly need new tires, valve covers are leaking

So, I've gotten a pa 3" body lift for it, gonna get new body bushings tmrw, lining up bearings and gettin prices on tires. Oh I also have transdapt wheel spacers.

My dielema;
My factory studs are too long to use the spacers... I'm planning on ordering shorter studs and pounding em in. Has anyone done this? Any other suggestions?

I was laid off work for a month and in that time I have prob read 90% of all tech library articles even the ones not pertaining to my truck. The amount of knowledge you guys have is incredible!
So lemme know how I'm doin;
Here are my desires...
33 12.5 x15 on beadlocks.
I'm thinkin mud terrains... Nt sure yet
Wheel spacers on, bearings done
Snorkelled at some point haven't decided home made or bought.
A descent bumper with hooks (why my truck has no front hooks baffles me)
No which, ill be with a buddy
Some off road lights, backs as well
I think I'll keep te suspension stock I have ttb and love them
Mabey a locker in the back but that's a was away.
Can anybody else think of something?
I'm not lookin for a comp off road truck just somethin that gets me over some obstacles and throw some dirt once in a while.

So, that's me and my story, I'm on this site 3/4 times a day always looking fr something new to learn so any input is GREaTLY appreciated,

Ps, if u have any fish/ fishing questions lemme know! I guied and have a diploma in fisheries and aquaculture. ?
