Another rant from this blue oval lifer.
Trusty ranger is on its second heater control valve in three years. No, they're not OEM so I don't expect them to last long as factory. But I do expect cheap one to last more than 15 months before start leaking!
Back in the good old days they were metal and lasted longer than car did...😛

Keep your original parts as long as possible. I cringe each time I see a post where someone is going to "replace everything" so it's all new and they do not have to worry about it for a long time.
