I've been searching and can't find a write up on swapping in a new rear axle assembly. With pics would be great. Help please.

Just taking mine out, (4:10s, 31 spline, 8.8) and putting a used one,(same) back in. I'm just looking for some pics or a how to. I figure it's not too hard, but wanted to know what steps to follow.

naw i don't think so just make sure you take a pic of how the rear brakes are set-up cause that was a pain. i just disconnected my brake hose from up where it was around the frame rail. i can take pics of where you gotta do stuff tomarrow if you can hold out. but pretty straight forward

Pics would be helpful, no rush, I have to wait until after this weekend to do it anyway. Sounds like it wont be too bad. I guess that the only thing I was worried about would be the pinion angle. I have to think that the leaf spring perches will keep it in line though, right?
