Skyjacker never used the Drop Plate did they?

The passenger side bracket looks more like a Superlift bracket, with holes in it.

I am skeptical about buying it, but its for $200. Is there a way to tell if it is even for a RBV vehicle ? I will post some more pics.

BDS or Trailmaster. From what I remember they are the same kit, just different name. With orange coils my guess would be a trailmaster kit.

Aside from the drop plate issue, I never had a problem with my kit. Being used, same as yours, the misaligned holes were already ovalled out to fit, so I never had an issue. Oh, and I paid $200 for mine too way back when, with shocks.

Is there anything anyone can do about the drop plate issue ?

Those are Superlift drop brackets. I have the same on mine. Mine came off a rolled truck approximately 13 years ago and they went to the explorer when I lifted it. Drill the holes out and got to a bigger bolt. They should be a 7/16 and drill them to 1/2.

Not superlift at all.

BDS / Trailmaster.

You could trim the drop plate and cast bracket but that will just weeken the setup. Some trim and weld the cast bracket to the drop plate.

Your only other options is to get new brackets. Nearly all the Lift kits now offer a new replacement bracket, with no drop plate. But you have to buy both pivot drops to get the one.

Or install proper length bump stop extenders to stop the diff from contacting the bracket.

I think I will try and do that, and make do with my current brackets until I can fork out for new ones, a few months down the road. I got this lift setup for $150 from the guy who was selling it, and it came with no instructions.

So I have one more question...
The radius arm brackets pictured in the first picture... What do I do with them, bolt the stock radius arm brackets to those somehow, an then to the frame ? I have taken them outside to look under my truck, and couldnt figure out how they are supposed to be used. I havent been able to find any pictures either.

I got a pair of reddy/orange heavy coils with it, some u bolts and aluminum blocks that I wont be able to use. No coil spacers.

There are no extra holes I need to drill for the radius arm brackets into the frame is there ? Still trying to visualize it.
