lift and size of tires

so can I get away with only a 3" lift and put 31's under it with out alot of rubbin

or will I have to do alittle cuttin

i know 3rd gen and up will easily clear 31's with a 3 inch lift regardless of 2 or 4wd

if it's a 4x4 you should be fine without even lifting it. but since this is the 2wd forum i guess it's not a 4x4 . I am running 31x10.5 on my stock 94 2wd. it only rubs when im turning all the way cranked.
