This looks like a cool project. I remember seeing your Ranger and your ZX2 over on TeamZX2.
I think you still need to clean up that wiring though. Electrical tape and butt connectors are never as clean or reliable as solder and shrink wrap.

I agree with you completely, but I'm not going through the trouble to put everything back togeather when I'm only planning on driving it for another week or two. When spring rolls around again I will clean it all up, but it will only have a tape deck and am/fm in there by then.

About the bed cover, I wouldn't want to unbolt a sheet of plywood everytime I wanted to get into the bed. Having to turn the handle on my cap is too much work for me. Haha.

Picked up a new cap today, it fits a lot better and should help keep the rain and snow out. Almost matches the color too.

Might pick up new tires soon, depends on if I get the zx2 fixed by tomorrow night or not.

The dual or the pioneer? Last time I checked that pioneer is down to 90. I paid 130 online a year ago for it.

The dual is stuffed in my Ranger. I didn't want to sell the guy a stereoless truck. Deck was a p.o.s. anyway, I'm not a fan of dual at all.

Rangers gone. Still have the cap and studded snows though. Trying to find a buyer for them but it's not going too good. Might have to keep them in storage for a while.

It's a good stereo for what it is, I was originally going to buy one like it but by a different brand. I just wanted the SD capability. Then I found my pioneer with the front USB and ordered it on the spot.

By the way, the Mazda is getting the Rangers old tape deck since the pioneer is in the Zx2 again.

Found a rear end donor. Cool thing is, it comes complete with rear springs. One of mine is broken anyway.

Even cooler, they're 3" lift springs. :D

He said he has the front 4" springs as well, but when I asked if he would be willing to sell them he stated "money talks" so I'm not sure how much he's looking for. If I don't get a good deal on the set I might walk, I don't want to buy springs I can't use. If it was a ranger I'd go for it and hold off on installing them, but springs for these trucks are so rare I might never find the fronts.

I mean front end. I honestly haven't spent enough time under the front end of my truck to know if it's springs or coil overs or bricks for that matter. I only drove it for two weeks and then parked it, haha.

I said springs because I'm way too used to rangers.
