I did get some work done this weekend on it. Found out i had 28 spline axles instead of 31's so i am trying to find a set. The arms are now welded into place and we will begin plating everything this week. I plan on going out there tonight so i will snag some photos.

I also picked up a 96 Exploder V8 AWD this weekend. I will use this truck as a DD until D's motor blows, then take everything from the Exploder and put it in the truck. I plan on taking the dash, center console, engine, trans, ECU and anything else i can use from the ploder.

The arms are in place and will be getting plated this week. I think they look kick ass on the truck

Here is a look at the driveshaft and pinion angle at ride height.

We started playing with the jack just to see how it looks stuffed and with a little gnarticulation. Once we get the new spindles and hubs in, I will get some more pictures of the little guy all flexed out.

I missed some of the first pages, you might already have them, but a new 31 spline carrier will be required for 31 spline axles, You cant just stuff 31 spline s in an 28 carrier. Go to mustangheaven.com Its a voting site that lists all the mustang sites and you can find 8.8 31 spline carriers and axle sets all day long.

Both arms are in, and the shocks have been cycled. They are being sent out to have the seals replaced and cleaned up a bit. The motor cage is being built this week. Hoping to have the truck driveable by the weekend. I will take some pictures in the near future

4/21- Engine cage has been started. Coilover is mounted. Here are some pics. They are kind of crappy because they were taken with my Iphone, but I promise i will get some good ones once the cage is finished.

the coilover mounts are tacked to the backside of the knuckle. Once they are finished, i will get some pictures up.

The tube on the right is tacked in, the other two are just sitting there as mock ups. The coilover tabs haven't been put on yet.

Here is a good look at the arms. They still been to be boxed in, but man they look kick ass

Both sides of the engine cage are tacked in. The coilovers will be mounted on the inside (side closest to engine) to give them a slight angle inwards. The rear shocks I decided to go with are 12" Fox 2.5 resivoirs. This will allow me to keep the shocks in the location they are in now and i will still have plenty of travel
