Ok so last June I had to replace my wires because of a horrible misfire. Changed the plugs also. It did fix the problem that the obd test showed a bad #6 wire, but I changed all of them out to be safe. Now today after the truck sitting for a week not running (bad misfire) again! I went to try and test it at Orielly auto but the obd plug wasn't working. So I replaced the #6 wire and the truck runs great now. I also replaced the cig lighter fuse to fix the obd (they are linked together). My question is do you think that the coil is bad? It is only the #6 wire that has gone bad twice now. And if I have the same problem again, can I use one of the other 5 plug wires to keep it going? I know there is a resistance thing going on, but would it work to get me home. I have always had a slight miss when idling ever since i have owned the truck(bought new off lot). So I'm thinking it is a bad coil pack. Borg Warner is $74. Good deal???
