hello again! I thought I would move my thread here from the prerunner forum. Here we go!!!

picked up some F150 coils. saw the how to in the tech section so I decided to try it

picked up some rancho rs5000 for 125 bucks on ebay

bought a little wire feed welder and a harbor freight pipe bender. I have a little experience with welding from high school but have never taken on a project. I bought 20' of 1 1/2 pipe with schedule 40. I quickly learned how bad notching by hand sucks! but this is the bumper without mounts and without braces in the middle

sorry I forgot to snap pics of my mounts I made but here it is!

dropping old spring and drop brackets

had to cut off those pesky bolts!

new shocks and f150 coils installed!

the spring sat weird so I welded a scrap piece in to hold the spring in the bucket. "just in case"

so..... I only got 3/4 of an inch of lift. this is after an alignment. talk about sketchy
