I should smack you for saying that. That is a dirty 3 letter word. Now go wash out your mouth with soap and go sit in the corner. You know what you said. Now GO!:annoyed: :flipoff: ;brownbag;

I use norton ghost and a seperate hard drive.

this method will give you a near instant recovery for your "setup".

"data" is far easier to protect than your system setup.

and while you can always recover your setup, what you are protecting by backing it up is the TIME you will waste on setting it up all over again....

and that's always so much "fun"........ isn't it?

BTW, immediatly after typing this message I formatted the C: drive partition on my dell notebook and installed another operating system.
My 30 day experience with Windows 7 is at an end even though it worked fine
but I didn't have a product code for it, but I did for Vista-Buisness.

frankly on this notebook I don't find Vista at all objectionable.

pfft, recovery disk are only good as cup coasters. best way is to have the windows install disk, plus a copy of all the drivers. most preinstalled OS's are loaded with trial and bloat ware. brands of machines dont matter, they all use the same os now days. i myself use a 300mhz pentium 2 compaq laptop with XP for when i need to go moblie. runs great cause i dont load it with crap, better than my parents POS toshiba with Win7.
