There is what looks like the same port in the block on the other side. Can I use that one? It would free up some space where I need it if I could.

I'm going to try and put a link up to some useful information (to others, too, I hope)
Nope- try again
Well after several times trying, I got this copy/paste . I have some better diagrahms in my email but don't know how to send them without compromising my computer- duh

BTW- some of what I have is already in the tech section theRangerStation

Thanks John, for your help. I need to take more pics. I think my block has the same opening on the other side of the block as the first pic you put up . I'm probably wrong.
Looking closely at the first pic, I noticed you have the same distributor I have.
It looks like the easiest one for me to wire to my MSD box to.
It's exciting for me to be at this point!
Do you think I should start a thread in the non-RBV forum on this?

To follow your install into a VW van in the "Other engine swap" forum. I know it would be neat to see the progress of a 2.3L into a vw pictorilly...

Ok, I did it. Since the title of this thread has actually been answered. I guess it's time to move on. I hope you follow me over there! You've been real helpful! (Several of you guys)
