Doesn't seem like allot more than doing any other high performance motor. Also is guaranteed to make one heck of a sleeper.

Yup...known about 'em for quite some day. Back in the day I wanted to build up a GMC 302 cyl for my chevy using 4 barrel, split header, bored over and a cam. Stuff got real expensive real fast compared to a sbc. Same goes for these engines. Though...it would be pretty damn cool pullin' 400 at the wheels being naturally aspirated!

4500 for that short block is reasonable. Good parts, and machine work arent cheap. i seen SBC shortblocks more expensive than that.

Last motor I did ground up was a old 351W for an '82 supercab F150. Wasn't any cheaper than this would be and was 20 years ago. Would REALLY love to chat/visit someone who has one of these engines built and running.
