Hi folks,

Just bought a 1989 Bronco II Eddie Bauer a few days ago. Here she is:

216,xxx miles. I really like the truck, she has a lot of character, but also a few quirks. Hopefully you guys can help me get her running up to her full potential. Thanks.

Nice what have you done to it. Use the tech library and get as much info as possible. Do a compression test and a vacuum test to find out the health of the motor. Check/change all the fluids brakes, gearcases, coolant, engine. Get a code reader and pull the codes. Do you plan on doing some custom pin stripeing I would suppose it is called rocky mountain pin stripeing up there. It dont look like it has ever been 4 wheelin pull up a seat do the research and go get your hands dirty. The guys here can answer any Qs you may have.

Thanks, all I've done so far is change the oil and the oil filter. Records show it's spend most of it's life in mountain towns in Colorado, and the guy I bought it from used it for bow hunting. So I'd bet that it's got lots of highway miles with it's fair share of 4wheeling thrown in. Now with me, it will serve double duty as a city commuter, and for hiking/biking trips to the mountains.

I've started a thread in the BII forum about the truck: http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133878

Feel free to chime in with any knowledge or suggestions. Thanks.

Welcome (again) to TRS. I saw your other thread before this one. That's one CLEAN B2. I like it.
