So I have just the basic TomTom one GPS, its worked for long time but the other day when I went to turn it on I hear the drums and see a orange screen but in the bottom left I get a hard drive symbol and then it turns off.

Ive called customer support, they didnt really help, and ive read tons of FAQ's but nobody can tell me what to do to fix it. Just wondering if any of yall have any tips. I have the tom tom home on my mac and it connects to my gps and everything but of course it still just shows a hard drive symbol when connected to my mac too.

So should i chuck it or what?

Either it needs to be charged, IE charger not workin properly or it needs to be reset. There should be the typical pinhole to reset it. I have the tomtom and mine did it too. Just reset it.

edit I dont think mine had the pinhole, I thin it was how long I held down the power button. Read the directions on reset. I think its holding the power button for 15 seconds or more
