But you don’t have a good functioning 2150... do you?
No but with the 1200 bucks that EFI system would cost i could buy about 5 good ones.

That'll work pretty well on a 351 or 400 and maybe a 302. Or you could send me the 2150 and a complete list of symptoms and maybe I can save you some money.
Im pretty good with carbs. Its on the 77 400 in my F250. Right now its a stuck float or something stupid. But ive always had a nagging accelerator pump issue i could never pin down.

If you were cruising 30-35 or whatever through town, laid off the gas, and got back into it a little it would bog for a split second. It did it at first cause the linkage to the plunger was gummed up and not moving totally insync with the rest of the throttle. Fixed that it was fine for a few months then went back to it.

Its also rich on a hot start like maybe the powervalve blew out...but its done that forever even after a rebuild or 2.

The choke/cold start stuff works flawlessly which is why im hesistant to change it.

Im not a holley guy but edelbrock dont make 2bbls and i dont wanna change manifolds or use a goofy adaptor.

There was a TSB to address what Ford called "stumble on tip in" back in the day. The air bleed cam is on the throttle shaft between the throttle plates, were replaced a bunch of them and fixed it, once we figured out what "tip in" was. I may have one of the cams, do you know how to realign the throttle plates if you take them out? I wouldn't put an Edelbrock on anything, they're shiny turds based on AFB's and rottenchesters.

Ive only removed throttleshafts once and jt didnt end well. If i yanked it off and sent it to ya what would you charge me to go thru it?

I always had great luck with them too. The holleys i had never stayed in tune.
Edelbrocks run OK, as long as you don't mind having less power than a Holley combined with soggy throttle response. If you didn't want more power why'd you put a 4 barrel on it? The Holley on my Mustang came from Summit in 1993, I've tweaked it as I've modified the engine, the only "failure" was a plugged air bleed once that I fixed with a squirt of carb clean.

I had them on a 78 400 and a 460...never had any issues. I do think holleys will outperform them but my edelbrocks never needed tweaked...ever. It was amazing really.

Probably half that and my friend at Napa gives me good prices on parts. The 350 cfm Holley might have better throttle response, I've seen 500 Holleys on 351's and 400's that ran strong but would suck the needle off the gas gauge.
