My vote is for the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. I've got a set on my superduty and love them.

BFG AT's if you spend most of the time in the sand, the MT if you don't go in the sand

IMHO the Duratracs walk all over the BFG AT's in every way possible.

Well under a 1 ton truck the reports have been 45-50000 miles. Should be better under a light ranger.

I've got about 5000km's on mine so far, they are showing pretty much no wear as of yet.

If you can get them. They are a commercial tire. Similar compound to what I have on my Volvo tractor. 100k out of a set is not unheard of.

I'm telling you....best all around weekend warrior and street tire out there. Goodyears new line up with the Duratrac and the new MTR Kevlar is rather impressive.

been my dd/weekend trail tires for over 4 years and over 40k miles now and i couldn't be happier. and that includes several trips in excess of 1600 miles. between the winter snow and ice and the spring mud we get here, i will certainly keep buying these as long as they keep making them.
but that's just me.

I dont have a lot of experience with different ones, but I loved my Buckshot Mudders. They rode great on pavement and performed off road.
