I was just thinking; my fuse box is behind the passenger side kick panel. say i was to go through an exceptionally high puddle and water came into the cab. would the fuse box then overload and risk frying the electrical system of the truck? if so, is it possible to move the fuse box to the secondary factory location in the driver side dashboard? or at least up to the glovebox or something? just a thought i had, i dont know if someone's pondered this before.

Let me tell you how good the door seal is on my 2000.

I had water lapping at the PS door for well over an hour (parked next to the river on a boatramp turned into a parking lot, tide came in and wind shifted). Had to wade in water up over my knees, got in and drove it away. Opened the PS door expecting to have a soaked carpet, since it was on the downhill, deep side.

Dry.

Looked at open door frame, could see where the water level had risen to, still wet and left debris, fully 4+ inches above the door sill. Not a drop inside.

I think you worry needlessly.
