So I think i will try to get a full length console tomorrow from the salvage yard. Research shows to remove it is only 3 bolts up front, 2 in the middle then a little muscle to push the console back and out, correct?

Also, any other brackets I need to get? I think there is one bracket up front where it mounts to where the ashtray used to be. Do I need any of the brackets that mount to the floor (I currently have the half console that come with the bucket seats, as you can see in my build thread)

I searched the interior forums but didnt find anything specific to my questions

Thanks

.

I would get everything that the console bolts to and is removable to be safe.

From what I have gathered is a fairly common upgrade but you are right there is no build article, if you get chance you may take pictures and write up an article on how to do it. It may help out the next guy. :icon_thumby:
