fuel pump question

with the motor off and the key on should the fuel pump keep pumping? mine does.

on my 99 f-250 v-10 the fuel pump turns off as soon as it builds pressure....

yes the fuel pump should run when the key is on buy only to build up to pressure then shut off.

yeah mine just keeps on running, any ideas how i could fix this? because its still bogging real bad while driving so something is wrong and i have yet to figure out what it could be....

fuel pressure regulator maybe?? at idle i have 30 PSI of fuel after the regulator
