My credo
WHY DO I KEEP BUYING DODGES?!?!?
Your flexplate is the flywheel in an automatic transmission equipped vehicle. It has the teeth your starter engages against, and your torque converter bolts to it if I recall correctly. We had to replace the one in our Countour because it was cracked where the bolts went thru.
