I live in MD, and it was the first snow of the season.
I was having fun in my ranger (of course)
and it was all cool yesterday.
But this morning.........
I was going to work at like 7:30.
I was drifting around these snowy turns.
I was on the last turn, slowed down, done having fun.
I turned...one problem, I didn't turn, the wheels did, the truck
kept going straight......
THere was a parked car on the curb so I didn't want to hit it, so
I straightened the wheels and tryed to brake.
they locked up....
I went over the curb...
In a ditch....
And knocked over a Speed Limit Sign.
I called my friend with a F-250 to pull me out.
What does he show up in?????
THE GRAND MARQUISE!!!!!!
So he and someone else had to push me out.
I got to work 10 minutes late, made 3 hours overtime, no problem :D

That was my story for the first snow of the season, lets hear yours

dude I live in Phx if I get snow I'll have video of the dumbass drivers doing 2mph and still wrecking into each other. actuly if that was to happen the people that would drive the best would be all the snowbirds that have lived in snow, that would be a crazy change to have all the blue hairs not causing collisions.

When we do get our first snow (ice usually), I pull out a lawn chair and watch every idiot that hits the dip in the middle of the road slide out. With pull-along, just in case they get stuck on my curb.

Here in Michigan we already got a foot and a half or more, the hills are opening and all the accident are over, however we are suppose to get another 1-3 inches tonight which means we could end up getting hammered. Especially with it coming across the lake. :tease:
Ive actually already been pulled over this season for "spirited driving" cops dont like you fishtailing around every corner. Oh well!

Why would he show up in a crown vic when you told him you were stuck? Is your truck a 4WD?

I saw numerous cars in ditches around here yesterday. We got about 5 inches last night. The roads are pretty much clean now, except ice. We also are supposed to get another 1-3 tonight.

I am hoping to find some people stuck and make some dough yanking them out.

Watch, now that I am driving the B2 instead of the F-250 I will run into them on every corner.

Man we finally got like two inches here in KC, MO and people are in ditches everywhere. I watched as one guy tried to turn right at a big four way and slid into the curb, but if it wasnt there he would have hit me. A big dumb truck was side ways at the bottom of a hill and a school bus went fishtailing onto the highway. People really cant drive. But the donuts are so fun!!

hell yea!
Good man!

did you spend the rest of the day doing donuts elsewhere?

Yep. I went to my church parking lot (I help them shovel so I feel that it's fine to make frozen tire tracks if I'm the one that will eventually chip them off lol)

Had a close call with a light pole, but other then that I span till I wanted to vomit. It was a good day.

This snow makes me want to go wheeling!

I don't go playing around doing doughnuts in parking lots....last time I did that I smashed my grille....

Well, ok, so shattered the grille after I did some doughnuts... campus police came looking for me so I boogied down the street.... When I went to get into third gear the back end of the truck caught up with the front....and THEN the tires bit...launching me through a massive snowbank before sliding sideways to plow the remainder of the snowbank into a driveway... the neighbor of a sheriff....

No, I don't much do that anymore....lol
