Hey guys got a 83 2wd longbed ranger im doing a v8 302 carb swap in. Im having some issues getting the engine in, im using two right mustang convertible engine mounts, the left ones dont work at all. I have the advance adapters oil relocation kit.
My problem is:
The mounts dont line up at all so i had to drill holes.. But its really hard to get an idea of where the holes go without having the engine in all the way which isnt really possible without having the holes in the correct spot. Im getting pretty frustrated pulling it out and putting it back in 100 times. And im starting to have quite a bit of holes in my frame now.. How am i supposed to correctly get the holes in the right spot??
