i have a 1990 ford ranger 2.9l v6 reg. cab and im about to do a sas with a dana 44 and a 9 inch both off a 79 bronco, it will have about 6 inches of lift and the only thing i need is a front drive shaft and a rear drive shaft and i need help with them....what truck i should get them off of or what i need to buy new. HELP so i can start this project already!

Call a driveline shop, give them the measurements, give them your money, and then pickup newly fabbed driveshafts.

You could save some dough by reusing yokes/slip joints/flange mounts ect ect from your existing drivelines....chances are though you won't be able to use them all off of the stock stuff. Like I said call a shop, they will be more than happy to at least tell you what you need even if you don't source them for whole new drivelines.

Dont they make conversion ujoints that link ranger shafts to full size axles? that would save a ton of money since youll just need to extend your current shaft. take one of your ujoints from both ranger and bronco shafts and take it to a driveline shop to see what your options are on converting the two. at least im hoping its that simple since thats what my plan is/was

I used 1310 to 1330 u joints. Bolted right up. I still need to check for binding though with the suspension drooped
