Fuel Pump(s) FOR SURE! I had a similar problem with my '97. Mine will run until it warmed up, sometimes no trouble at all, replaced it, no trouble since. Let me know if it works.

Well its looks as if it was the pickup coil. Since I changed it last week the truck hasnt stalled. I just have to check the base timing now. Thanks SykoRanger88 for the location of the spout connector. Always wondered what that plug was for.
