Does Anyone here compete with their Ranger?

Better yet, does anyone have a Ranger that's primarily used for some type of competition?

Desert
Drag
Mud
Rally
Rock
SCCA
Tough Truck
Any other type of off-road competition

Here is a low buck Bronco II that I built and wheeled the hell out of. I built it to short course race, but unfortunately the local series decided to change venue. But, I'm am proud to announce that the new owner successfully competed in a local tuff truck event this weekend and did very well!!

As bad as it looked and sounded, that Bronco II has been jumped MANY MANY times and is still going strong!!

I dont own this one anymore. However, almost every 2wd Ranger I've owned over the last few years has seen SCCA Autocross.

Here's my 07 2.3-5mt Coming out of a pivot. Tires are 245/45/17 Ecsta SPT. I had more traction than I needed. Otherwise, completely stock truck apart from the GT wheels and tires.

The ranger looks great on the track! I autocross a '88 Mustang. I bet your SR20 240sx is a lot of fun :headbang:

I'm in the process of building a truck for the Tough Truck competition they hold every year at the monster truck shows and I'm trying to get the local dirt track to build an off-road course in the infield to maybe start up some tough truck competitions and evolve into a racing class.

Here is my build. Still in the beginning stages.

Whats the least i need to do to my ranger to participate in an amature race. I got rid of our Quads and picked this up in the desert for 3g. Needed somthing for the wife and kid to fit into at the dunes. It has a little over 20inches of travel were in the midst of cageing it now. Trying to have it ready for pismo by Thanks Giving......Nice Trucks ... Sorry it wont let me post a pic

We are in the process of building a 1985 Ford Ranger Short bed single cab for Open 2wd class Rally (USRC/RNY/Others)
The Truck has a 86 Mustang Motor/trans/diff swap.

Going to be a blast!
