Since you are unlikely to find someone selling a used one cheap, just buy one for a 2.8L1978 Mustang II ... single vacuum

I wish it was that easy. This part seems to be out of stock everywhere, even eBay doesn't have one available. I'm stuck in the same boat as OP right now because I have everything else on the way and can't find the distributor.

Do you still have the distributor? I'm in the process and can't find one.

Ok now I am in this boat, does anyone know if I use a duel vacuum and just block off the other port if that would work?
