I have been searching for 4.10 and 4.56 geared axles to swap out my 7.5/3.73 and have only found a few at all the Ohio junk yards (that have search-able parts online). Right now I have 31" tires, but in the future I may go with 33's. So I thought I would look into 4.56 axles, but the only one I found in the state of Ohio was for like $700 at the JY, and it was 3 hours away from where I live.
I have only found two 4.10 axles at 2 different yards (neither LS). One is out of a 95 with 175,000 miles @ $350. The other is out of a 99 ranger with 104,721 miles @ $139, and it is at a JY that is close to me.
Is $139 dollars a good price for a complete 7.5/4.10 rear axle already out of the truck?
