More pictures as promised.

As you can see here my stock shock is fully extended and doesnt reach with the truck sitting on its own weight.

[/IMG]

My pinion angle looks to be fine.

[/IMG]

Front hanger location is exactly 6 inches forward from stock location.

[/IMG]

And my height Im at now, was at 24 inches before the swap.

[/IMG]

Just need to buy the brake pads and lines for my D30 and a couple of other things now.

Here is the rear brake line. I used braided hose from Summit with AN ends and AN to flare adapters. I think it cost me 25$

I remember that I have a braided rear brake line in the garage, might see if its long enough and if it will work, came off a d35 rear end that was given to me that I parted out.

Got brakes installed on my D30, now its ready to be put under the truck (other then putting oil in the diff.). Turns out my D30 needed brakes for an 85, so I don't know what year(s) it is

I guess the height looks about right with the extended shackle and a block... mine didnt have a block in it when i stripped off the factory springs. altho i did add one to get it a little higher.

Ordered my rear shocks from summit, procomp se9000. They were the only ones I could find that would fit my truck and budget. Now to wait a few days for them to arrive.

As fast as it is getting cold outside and other things to do, I might not get my SAS done and due to how much lift it will be getting, it simply won't be able to be done in the garage.

But, this allows me to fully look over everything so that when I do it, I won't run into to many bumps, plus allows me to save up for everything. We'll see if I can get it done before the snow flies.

Hope you will like the procomp 9000's I hate them and cant wait to get rid of them. They are definitely made for a softer spring rate than what I have

I was looking for something that fit my truck and was in a hurry to get them so I can start driving her again. I'll be buying my dads ranger next year off him after he buys himself a newer ranger and that one will be my DD.

Shocks came in today!!!!!

Got them mounted and got the bed put on and went out driving and have to say much better ride. Though now I have to adjust my headlights due to them pointing to the ground.

Sad part is no pctures at the moment due to the computer overheated yesturday night and fried the cpu due to a faulty cooling system.

Safe to say though I could easily fit 35's under her if I wanted to but instead of 31's might go to 33's.

You should go with 33's if your going to have that much lift. The 31's will look wierd.

I might go with 33s just depends on its final lift height.

I was told that it is illegal to have only the rear lifted and not the front, can anybody help confirm this for me? If it is true, I have no choice but to put my D30 under my truck sooner then expected.

If saying yes gets your truck done quicker then...yep sure is.

In all reallity i have no idea about your state's lift law's . but heck jackin up the back of cars like that used to be a "must do" to give it the real hot rod look. but things have definately changed since then. driving it like that is gonna make your caster way outta whack.

If it is illegal try throwin you stock shackles in for the meantime. it may bring the rear down a bit ?

My front is screwed up as it is. If I had to lower it, ill ust fake the factory blocks out.

Drives great but I need to get the choke fixed, keeps it at high idle about 1400rpm.

I'm not sure what the max lift is but I do know that mine is just within the legal limit. My neighbor is a cop, he checked it out for me.

There's no lift laws on Indiana but there is a bumper height law. But I'm being told its illegal to only have the rear lifted and not the front by a co-worker. I'm going to be looking that up in a bit. If I have time tomorrow after going t the j/y tomorrow, check all my bolts and re-tighten.
