My credo
The perfect is the enemy of the good.
I almost stabbed myself on a sharp end of a spring sticking out the back of the driver seat. Really bad, and, I want to have my dog there (hasn't yet) and that would put her eye right out. It's about an inch or so of spring sticking thru the fabric about behind your lower back if you were sitting in the seat. What can I do about this? You could tear an artery on it, I almost did before I knew it was there. Help! All I can think of is pull thru as much as I can, then cut it off, and hope for the best? I suppose getting new seat is a possible, but, they are really in pretty good shape, apart from that.

If the cover is easily removable on that section of seat, you can cut the piece off much further in, then replace the cover.
