Well so the cool looking LEDs don't really work as i though they would and now serve as "hey pull me over officer" device. had a big fun time when my starter bolts backed out and i lost my lower one... that sucked i now carry spares!

Great build, Discount, advance, o reilly's has some little led's that stick in place on a swivel, they are single bulb and small enough that shouldnt be a prob with cops. As long as you dont use blue or red you should be ok. Hey I noticed Coyote was banned, koooool!

I just got back...why are you puttin led's on your xmsn????

I'd rather use the rotating contact from the steering column that supplies voltage to the horn button....mount it on your driveshaft & wrap a string of led's around the driveshaft...never mind....that was the meds talking.....again

Realisticly, you would have to have an electrical contact setup like the cruise control plate in the steering wheel with 4 pins that contact 4 round strips of metal, which allows the steering wheel full rotation without twisting wires. Problem is even if you did find a way to do this on a driveshaft, it would burn up the metal at teh ratation speeds. plus prolly sling the lights off the shaft , LOL.

That's what I love about this state; Land of 10,000 Lakes and usually good fish in every one of 'em!!:icon_thumby:

So, what's next on the ol' Ferdski? Oh, in case you need one, I have an oil pan from an 89 F-150 that you can have, if you need it. :icon_thumby:

EDIT: I like how coyote copied and "modified" your old sig. Unfortunatly, I'm not afraid of things that aren't real. (There, I said it.)
