I was parting out a 88 BII today for parts to use on my 89, one thing I wanted was the manual tcase.. after removing it I noticed the aluminum front adapter on the Tcase that bolts to the trans was cracked in several spots.. I called a few drive line & parts places.. & no ones has it.. does anyone have an idea where I can find this part?

Tcase is a Borg Warner 1350 Manual..

Yeah, you can find 3 of them in my T-case spare parts bin.

They made 3 different front plates that will fit:
1- Early 13-50 - has 4 planet gears, tapped for standard bolts, and slightly weaker design (less meat around bolt holes).
2- late 13-50 - has 4 planet gears, tapped for metric bolts, and slightly stronger design. (also used on early 13-54s)
3- 13-54 - has 6 planet gears, metric bolts, same strength as #2.
(there may be more, the newest 1 I've had apart is a '99)

#1 +#2 will fit with no mods, other then using different bolts.
#3 will work with the right high/low range gear and shift fork.

The 4 planet gear isnt as strong as the 6 gear, but there are very few people who have broken the 4 gear setup.

Go with #2 for the easiest fix.

Oh yeah, it doesnt matter if its an electric shift or manual, either will fit.

My garage is 21x13.5 and there is no usable space left. And you saw all the stuff I have here at the shop. I'm trying to get a 40' storage container like the one here for home, so I can have the garage back. The wife says NO, I said she can park her car in the garage then. :icon_rofl:

Yeah, the front plate from the '89 13-50 elec shift will fit your '88 manual shift 13-50. Its a direct bolt on.
